Harold R. Busick, 78, of English, Indiana died on September 15, 2018 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  He was born on May 15, 1940 in Milltown, Indiana to the late Cleo Busick and Grace (Byerly) Mills.

 

He was a former truck driver for Perkins and Regent Trucking firms both in Huntingburg, Indiana.  He was a member of the Good News Church near English, Indiana.  He held several safety driving awards and was a member of the Teamster’s Union.  He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by parents; step-father:  Thomas Jack Mills; brother, David “Pete” Busick; son-in-law, Brian G. Stephenson; and a great-grandchild, Alyssa Stewart.

 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Inez L. (Haycox) Busick of English, IN; a son, Shannon Ray Busick (Sandra)- English, IN; daughters, Lisa Stephenson Holzbog (Allen) of English, IN and Debbie Foster (David)- Milltown, IN; brother, Russell Busick (Sharon) of Jasper, IN;  sisters, Rosie May (Paul David) of Milltown, IN and Pam Murphy Satterfield of Marengo, IN; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Good News Church, 1465 E. Temple Road, English, Indiana  47118.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 3-8 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN and after 10:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm at the church.

 

Pastor Dottie Saltz will officiate the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Brown Funeral Home, P.O. Box 338, Milltown, Indiana  47145, to go towards the expenses of the funeral.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.
