Robert F. Taylor Sr., 77, of Milltown, Indiana died on March 7, 2019 at Baptist Health-Floyd.  He was born on March 7, 1942 in Oxford, Alabama to the late Dewey Herbert Taylor and Ruby (McComb) Hawkins.


He was a former manager for Emro Marketing Company for 31 years and Georgetown Express Mart.  He was an Air Force Veteran, having served in Vietnam.  He was a member of the Milltown American Legion Post #332.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Martha Jane “Marty” Taylor and second wife, Linda A. Ragland; his sons, Robert (Bobby) Taylor II and John Stinson.


He is survived by his companion, Ilene Yates; sons, Paul Stinson of Milltown, IN, Douglas W. Stinson of Gaston, IN, Virgil Ragland of Texas, and John Ragland of Palmyra, IN; daughters, Sheila Stinson of Lebanon, IN and Melanie Hasenstab of Pekin, IN; a brother, David Richard Taylor of Alabama; sisters:  Peggy A. Little of Louisville, KY and Elizabeth Diane Martin of Corydon, IN; grandchildren:  Robert F. Taylor III, Cody Allen Taylor, and Katina Stinson, and numerous other grandchildren.


The funeral service will be on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Milltown Baptist Cemetery.


Visitation will be on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 4-7 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service on Monday, all at the funeral home.


Bro. Lloyd B. Roberts will officiate the service.
