Music by The Piano Brothers

Michael Edward Stevens (68) crossed into glory April 9, 2019. He was surrounded by his children: Leah (Johnny) Henson, Naomi Newman, and Zechariah (Amber) Stevens. He is survived by his brothers: Marvin (Kim) Stevens, and Martin Gene (Kara) Stevens, his sisters: Debra (Billy) Owens, Gina Pittman, Lana Stover, and Deanna Wagner, grandchildren: Aiden Schwartz, Maddyson Sturgeon, Brycen Stevens, and Bailey Newman, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents: Bob and Dorothy (Stephens) Stevens, his brother Mark Stevens, and his biological father Charles E. Ridgely, and also his grandparents, Lula and Wesley Stephens.

Born June 23, 1950 in Fort Knox, KY, Mic's family split their time between Tennessee and Indiana. A proud 1967 graduate of Milltown High School at age 16, he lived life to the fullest. He traveled, promoting music in his younger years, later retiring from the U.S. Census Bureau in 2012. He loved God, his family, his friends, and  keeping up with his “Goosehead” flock.

He will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Pfrimmer's Chapel UMC in Corydon, Indiana on April 27 at 2pm. All are welcome.
