Samuel E. Meriwether, 52, of English, Indiana, died April 16, 2019 at his home.  He was born on December 22, 1966 in New Albany, Indiana to Alice K. (Crawford) Meriwether and the late Ralph Meriwether.


He was a member of the Marengo Pilgrim Holiness Church, Disabled American Veterans, and AMA Flight Club, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.


He is survived by his mother, Alice K. Meriwether of English, Indiana; a brother, Mark E. Meriwether of Sellersburg, Indiana; sisters, Karen E. Meriwether of New Salisbury, Indiana and Ruth E. LaRue of Joelton, Tennessee.


He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Meriwether.


Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marengo Pilgrim Holiness Church, 6347 Speed Road, Milltown, Indiana 47145.


Visitation will be on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home and on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the church.


Interment will follow in the Mather’s Chapel Cemetery near English, Indiana.


Rev. Doug Cox will officiate the service.


Brown Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

So sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I have not seen Indiana family in many years but remember all of us as children playing at Aunt Alma and Uncle Clyde's house. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. So very sorry for your loss.
