Amy M. (Smith) Bratcher

Amy M. (Smith) Bratcher, 47, of Marengo, Indiana passed from this life on June 6, 2025 at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky.  Amy was born on November 3, 1977 in Corydon, Indiana to Robert K. Smith and the late Judy G. (Skeeters) Smith.  She married David Wayne Bratcher on August 9, 1997.

Amy was a cook at Papenos Pizza in Marengo, Indiana.  She enjoyed reading, attending Derby Dinner Playhouse, and spending time with her family and having game night.

Amy was preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Sheila Smith, and a nephew, Billy Trobaugh.

She is survived by her husband, David Wayne Bratcher; her father, Robert K. Smith; her children, Jordan R. Bratcher (Raeann) and Ravyn S. Bratcher, all of Marengo, Indiana; step-sons, Thomas Allen, Tyler Wayne, and Trevor Scott Bratcher, all of Louisville, Kentucky; sisters, Debby Jones (Tom) of Palmyra, Indiana, Gale Bourgeois (Raymond) of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Becky Smith (Mike) of Marengo, Indiana; and ones that she claimed as grandchildren, Olivia Walerczak, Levi Walerczak, and Dawson Carlton; and Christian Carlton and Will Walerczak, who were like her sons.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the funeral home.

Bro. Paul Walerczak will officiate the service.
