Obituary

Anetta S. (Barker) Kitterman, 83, died on May 5, 2023 at Lincoln Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born on February 17, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Paul G. and Della M. (Clifton) Barker.

 

Anetta was a former secretary for the U.S. Census Bureau and a state clerk for the Department of Commerce.  She enjoyed arts and crafts and painting.  She was of the Catholic Faith.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don G. Kitterman; and a son, Daniel Cook.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Christi L. (Cook) Fischbach and grandchildren:  Chad Daniel Cook, Jackie Overstreet, Alexis Brock, Sidney Cook, and Taylor Fischbach, 13 great-grandchildren and her canine companion, Roscoe.

 

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 4-8 pm and after 10:00 am until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, all at the funeral home.
