Asa C. Wright

Asa C. Wright,  68, of Leavenworth, Indiana died on June 13, 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  Asa was born on December 12, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Everett and Garnett (Garlinger) Wright.  He married Phyllis A. Cooper on January 17, 1974.

Asa was an automotive mechanic and enjoyed running beagle hounds and loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters:  Mary Westmoreland and Rachel Stone; and brothers:  Henry and Richard Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis A. (Cooper) Wright; sons:  William E. Wright (Nicole) of Milltown, Indiana and Charles A. Wright of Leavenworth, Indiana; a brother, Jack Wright of Louisville, Kentucky; sisters:  Patty Dawles and Melody Westmoreland both of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren:  Anthony Wright (Melissa), William Wright (Ashley), Dylan Wright, and Noah Wright (Payton); and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Alexis, and Bo.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bro. William Wright will officiate the service.
