Barbara A. King, 72, of English, Indiana died on June 8, 2021 at the I.U. Paoli Hospital. She was born on December 5, 1948 in Mifflin, Indiana to the late John and Thelma (Sturgeon) King.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mifflin Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandchildren: Jackilyn Salinas, Alyssa Stewart, and Emily Cobb; brothers: Chet, Shelby, Jessie, James, and Clyde; sisters: Goldia, Jean, Joyce, Betty, Bonnie, Patty, and Anita.
She is survived by her son: John W. Adkins of Eckerty, Indiana; daughters: Melissa A. Salinas of Huntingburg, Indiana and Rachel S. Cobb of Leavenworth, Indiana; grandchildren: Tiffany Adkins, Robert Salinas, Kimberly Salinas, Melinda Stewart, Justin Busick, and Jeremy Cobb; and great-grandchildren: Alliya, Josilyn, Zaida, and Raul Salinas, Tanner, Wyatt, and Maggie Stewart, Nathan Busick and Sierra Cobb.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Highfill Chapel Cemetery near Taswell, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 14, 2021 and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, all at the funeral home.
Bro. Ronnie Judd will officiate the service.
Memorial contributions can be given to the funeral home, to help with the expenses of the funeral service.
