Billy Joe King

Billy Joe King, 56, of Hardinsburg, Indiana died on January 13, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on June 8, 1964 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Shelva and Joann (Mason) King.

He was an avid card player, participating in several euchre tournaments, where he gained many friends.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and supporting the Indiana Hoosiers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Charlie McDaniel.

He is survived by his brother, Shelva King of Hardinsburg, Indiana; sisters, Becky Deweese (Billy) of English, Indiana and Bessie McDaniel of Milltown, Indiana; nephews, Marc Deweese (Amanda), Jeff Howell (Christian) and Brad McDaniel (Brooke); nieces, Misty Deweese (Jason) and Ashley McDaniel; 1 great nephew, 9 great nieces, and 1 great great niece.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Hardinsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of the service at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Ronnie Judd will officiate the service.
