C. Wayne Morgan

C. Wayne Morgan, 90, of Marengo, Indiana passed from this life to his eternal reward on February 12, 2026 at Baptist Health Louisville, Kentucky.  Wayne was born on October 14, 1935 in Marengo, Indiana to the late Orville and Laverne M. (Totten) Morgan.

Wayne was a retired pastor, having served as a staff pastor for several evangelistic organizations with the Assembly of God faith.  He had a passion for foreign missionary work in Central America.  He enjoyed golfing in his earlier days.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Griffith.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen A. (Hutslar)  Morgan of Marengo, Indiana; son, David Brian Morgan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Susan Marie Umbaugh of Hendersonville, North Carolina; sister, Rickie VanMeter of Marengo, Indiana; grandchildren, David Patterson and Rachel Farmer both of Jacksonville, Florida, Amber Causey of Peach Tree City, Georgia, and Lauren Hightower of McKinney, Texas; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
