Charles T. (Doc) Parks

Charles T. “Doc” Parks, 74, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on October 24, 2025 at his home.  Doc was born on December 9, 1950 in Marengo, Indiana to the late Charles and Eva Bell (Busick) Parks.

Doc had many occupations throughout his life, which included construction work and tended bar at the Marengo Tavern.  He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and working in his flower beds.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Parks; and sisters, Tammy Voyles, Carol Klinkow, Judith Mousty, and Brenda Busick.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma J. (Ragland) Parks; sons, Joseph Parks (Sonja) of Marengo, Indiana and Larry D.C. House of Louisville, Kentucky; daughters, Dawn Wright of Marengo, Indiana, Christine M. Vanlaningham (David) of Milltown, Indiana, and Rebecca J. Spruce (Danny) of Paoli, Indiana; brothers, Mike and Rick Parks; sisters, Eva J. Libka and Rita Stevens; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen, according to Doc’s wishes.  There will be no services at this time.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
