Christina K. (Higginbotham) Goodwin

Christina K. (Higginbotham) Goodwin, 48, of Palmyra, Indiana passed from this life on May 12, 2026 at Baptist Health- Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  Christina was born on March 4, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Virginia (Riggle) Teeter and the late Dwight Higginbotham.

Christina was a homemaker and a was of the Pentecostal faith.  She enjoyed diamond painting, watching true crime television shows, listening to country music and Bon Jovi, and loved her animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Higginbotham; step father, Lloyd Teeter, and husband, Joseph Goodwin Sr.

Christina is survived by her mother, Kay Teeter; sons, Joey S. Goodwin, Cody J. Goodwin (Hilda), and Duel Goodwin; daughters, Tristen M. Goodwin and Janet S. S. Goodwin; grandchildren, Victoria, Alex, Edward, and Matteo Goodwin; and a brother, Robert Higginbotham.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Central Barren Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
