Clara M. (Faulkenburg) Breeden, of Leavenworth, Indiana passed from this life on February 6, 2026 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth, Indiana. Clara was born on January 25, 1930 in West Fork, Indiana to the late John Elmer and Mary Edna (Goldman) Faulkenburg.
Clara was a retired Post Master for the United States Postal Service in Sulphur, Indiana. She was a member of the Leavenworth Presbyterian Church. She spent the winter months in Sebring, Florida and enjoyed reading books about the Amish.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Breeden; and brothers, Jasper and Ralph Faulkenburg.
She is survived by her son, Robert N. Breeden (Denise) of Leavenworth; daughter, Carla J. Crecelius (Alvin) of Marengo, Indiana; brothers, Ray Faulkenburg of Leavenworth and Wayne Faulkenburg of Clarksville, Indiana; a sister, Ima Ruth Bennett of New Albany, Indiana; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana 47145. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens near Leavenworth, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.
Bro. Paul Walerczak will officiate the service.
