It is with broken hearts, endless love, and cherished memories, that we share the passing of Dane Tyler Campbell, who left this world far too soon on November 4, 2025, at the age of 40 at Community North Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was adored by the nurses and staff there and they treated him with the utmost kindness and love.
Born on August 6, 1985, in Huntingburg, Indiana, Dane filled every room with laughter, smiles and an energy that made everyone around him happy. There was never a family gathering where Dane was not cracking jokes or telling a funny story. He had a love and passion for creating and singing songs that he wrote himself.
Dane never met a stranger - only friends waiting to happen. Everything he did reminded everyone around him that life is meant to be enjoyed. Having earned his degree in Business from Purdue, he was the Social Director for Brickyard Healthcare, sharing his bright personality and adding fun to the days of Brickyard's residents.
Though gone too soon, Dane's legacy of joy, compassion, and adventure will live on in the stories, laughter, and love shared by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents Connie (Eckert) Campbell, Eckerty, Darrell Campbell, Birdseye, his sister, Whitney Campbell, Shoals, and nephew, Peyton Campbell, Shoals. They, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, will continue to honor his memory by living life with the same warmth and spirit that defined him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon and Patsy Eckert and Ada and Coy Campbell, as well as his uncle, Tony Eckert.
As per Dane's wishes, he has been cremated. The immediate family will honor his memory privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to celebrate his life in their own way: listen to Dane's favorite, Fleetwood Mac, tell a funny story, and raise a glass to a life well lived. Dane lived big, loved fiercely, and made every day brighter. Though his time here was short, the joy he spread will last forever.
