Donald L. Henderson

Donald L. Henderson, 82, of English, Indiana joined his past wife, Joyce and his daughter, Rebecca in Heaven on August 26, 2022.  Donald was born on January 21, 1940 in Belleville, Illinois to the late William and Florence E. (Jones) Henderson.

Donald was a former employee of Southern Railroad and a United States Army Veteran.  He was a member of the Marengo American Legion Post #84 and the Everett Mason V.F.W. Post# 6160 in English, Indiana.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife:  Joyce Henderson; daughter, Rebecca Byerly; and a step grandchild, Brandon Sheckells.

Donald is survived by his daughters:  Amy Jones, Vicki Cox, and Denise Burns; step-children, Virgil and Dwayne Sheckells, and Jennifer Helton; grandchildren:  Daniel, Samantha, Kassandra, Whitney, Megan, Elizabeth, Adam, and Emily; and step-grandchildren:  April, Kyle, Cody, Leighsa, Jacob, McKayla, and Tyler.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery north of Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.
