Donald L Jones

Donald Lee Jones, 86, of Marengo, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his residence.  He was born in Marengo, Indiana on July 31, 1938 to the late Oscar Floyd and Corene (Oats) Jones.

Donald graduated from Marengo High School.  He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force and was employed and retired from L & N Railroad.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hobbies such as, collecting automobile hub caps, model trains, and other numerous collectibles.  His life was a life well lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Floyd and and Corene (Oats) Jones.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Donald’s memory, to the donor’s choice of charity.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.
