Donna Plimpton, 62, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 16th at her home in English, IN.
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Judy G. (Skirvin) Ferrill and the late Donald L. Ferrill .
Donna was a devoted wife, mother, mawmaw and friend. She married Gary Plimpton in 1981, they were married for 35 years. The love, care, and giving she showed her loved ones knew no bounds. She had the biggest heart and a nurturing spirit. Her siblings nicknamed her Momma Donna as she was always a mother to them. She had strong faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and dedicated much of her life to their ministry. Alongside her husband she started and ran many successful businesses. In her free time she loved riding her motorcycle, painting with oils, traveling, kayaking and sipping a cup of coffee on the front porch with a friend. But her favorite things were simply spending time and sharing her love with her grandchildren (Her Littles), family and friends. She will forever be loved and missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald L. Ferrill and her husband, Gary Plimpton.
She is survived by her mother, Judy G. (Skirvin) Ferrill; sons: Gary L. Plimpton (Desaray Dawn), Gabriel J. Plimpton, and Kenneth I. Plimpton; daughter, Alicia G. Wilson (Chris); brothers: Charles A. Ferrill (Linda), James L. Ferrill, and Donald L. Ferrill Jr., sister, Brenda L. Ferrill; grandchildren: Alicia Plimpton, Zoe Plimpton, Maeli Plimpton, Kaylee Jo Plimpton, Araylee D. Plimpton, Mason Skelton, Wyatt L. Wilson, Ridley D. Wilson, and Logan Plimpton.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at The Tomato Products Company, Thursday July 22nd. Arrive at 2:30pm, Pitch-In at 3pm. Address is 495 W Thorton St. Paoli, IN 47454.
