Donna Jean (Norman) Smith

Donna Jean Smith, 71, of Eckerty, Indiana died on November 21, 2020 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born on February 15, 1949 in Huntingburg, Indiana to the late Rueben Sylvester and Frances Marion (Parish) Norman.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John F. Smith; a son, Larry Wayne Norman; step-son:  Marvin Lee Smith; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son:  Greg A. Norman (Trish Courtney) of Eckerty, Indiana; step-son:  John W. Smith of Riceville, Indiana; daughter, Mary E. Pinter of Eckerty, Indiana; step-daughters:  Brenda G. Strohmeyer of Huntingburg, Indiana and Norma J. Reimann of English, Indiana; brother:  Estel W. Norman of Eckerty, Indiana; sister Fannie Calvert of English, Indiana; 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Bethany Union Cemetery near Eckerty, Indiana.

Rev. Philo Jones will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2020.
