Donnie R. (Buck) Goldman

Donnie R. “Buck” Goldman, 77, of English, Indiana died on August 14, 2024 at his home.  Donnie was born on November 4, 1946 in English, Indiana to the late Ray A. and Viola A. (Johnson) Goldman.

Donnie was a  former chemical worker for Celanese Chemical Company, a bus driver for Crawford County Community Schools and a farmer.  Donnie was a United States Army Veteran, having served the Vietnam era, while stationed in Germany.

Donnie was a member of the Alton American Legion Post #133, Branchville Masonic Lodge, Tell City First Baptist Church.  He was a 1964 graduate Leavenworth High School and an avid lifelong fisherman and rabbit hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, William Ray Goldman; his wife, Betty (Wiseman) Goldman; a brother, Wayne “Buzo” Goldman; and sister, Betty Faulkenburg.

He is survived by his sons:  Joshua Goldman (Emily) of Columbus, Ohio and John Pittman (Bonnie) of Tell City, Indiana; daughter, Pamela Pittman of West Fork, Indiana; grandchildren:  Logan and Lilly Goldman, Brannon Pittman (Deonna), Alexis Warren (Mitchell), and Nevaeh Pittman; great-grandchildren, Alley Pittman, Adaline and Johnny Pittman, and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. EDT at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Bethany Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, at the funeral home.

Rev. Dan Hopkins will officiate the service.
