Dorothy Ann (Crone) Cox, 74, of Leavenworth, Indiana died on February 3, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on August 4, 1946 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Gilbert Glenn Crone and Anna Louise (Strahl) Kintner. She married Gary R. Cox on July 12, 1963.
She was a former secretary for Leavenworth Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband Gary R. Cox of Leavenworth, Indiana; sons Michael Cox (Melissa) of Marengo, Indiana and Darren Cox (Stacy) of Athens Tennessee; a daughter Michelle Flanders (Bobby) of Depauw, Indiana; brothers Joseph T. Crone of Indianapolis, Indiana and Larry G. Crone of Escatawpa, MS; grandchildren: Haley Cox, Emiley Cox (Tyler), Carrie Parsons (Brad), Kyle Armstrong (Trista), Matthew Cox (Shyanne), Jared Cox; great-grandchildren: Kaelin Armstrong, Cori, Reece, Caden, and Ashlynn Parsons, Kendall Cox, Connor Cox, Aubree and Grayson Armstrong.
Services will be private due to Covid-19. Interment will be in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown is entrusted with the arrangements.
