Eric D. Purvis

Eric D. Purvis, 36, of Greenville, Indiana, passed from this life on June 8, 2026.  Eric was born on May 1, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kevin D. Purvis Sr. and Joetta Tessie (Griffin) Purvis.

He was a transmission mechanic and a chicken farmer.  He was a past member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #42 and a member of the Landmark Apostolic Church.  He enjoyed fishing, anything outdoors, and loved spending time with his son.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin D. Purvis Sr. and Joetta Tessie Purvis; son, Danial Ray Purvis; brothers, Steven Timberlake, Kevin Purvis Jr., and Griffin Purvis; special friends, Bill and Gracie Miller; grandmother, Carol Purvis; grandfather, Bill Kitchens Sr.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at Landmark Apostolic Church, 1020 Hwy. 335, Corydon, Indiana  47112.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 3:30 p.m. until time of the service at 7:30 p.m., at the church.

Bro. Kenny Hampton will officiate the service.
