Evanelle (Muncy) Goss

Evanelle (Muncy) Goss, 64, of Leavenworth, Indiana died on August 1, 2023 at her residence.  Evanelle was born on February 4, 1959 in Louisa, Kentucky to Loretha (Bowen) Muncy and the late Ulysses Muncy.  

Evanelle was a former Circuit Court Clerk for 13 years in Kentucky and a former teacher aide for the Crawford County Schools.  She was a member of the El Bethel Baptist Church and loved traveling, yard saling, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her mother, Loretha Muncy of Inez, Kentucky; companion, Thomas DeLong of Leavenworth, Indiana; sons:  Dustin Goss (Laina), Kevin Goss (Chrissie), and Kyle Goss (Lindsey) all of Leavenworth, Indiana; step-son, Chris Goss (Paula) of Versailles, Kentucky; brothers, Earshel Muncy of Winchester, Ohio and Junior Muncy of Inez, Kentucky; sisters, Arlene Walje of Sedalia, Missouri, Almetta Timms of Inez, Kentucky, Diann Muncy Isaac of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren:  Peighton, Adalynn, Jayna, and Kyleigh Goss; step grandchildren, Raegan and Reese Goss; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Gerald “Jerry” Goss; brother, Paul Muncy; sister, Judy Johnson; nephew, Paul Muncy Jr.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will be in Milltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Friday, August 4, 2023 and on Saturday, August 5, 2023 after 10:00 am until time of the service at 2:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be given to the funeral home to help with the cost of the funeral expenses.
