Frederick Alan Byrum, 63, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on July 16, 2024 at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Fred was born on March 18, 1961 in Corydon, Indiana to the late James W. and Shelvia J. (Bowman) Byrum.
Fred was a retired welder for Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E). He was a member of the Local IB 2100 and was a Backhoe Rodeo Champion. He enjoyed farming, tinkering in his garage and working on cars. He loved a good family game night of Aggravation and watching Westerns.
Fred is survived by his son, Matt J. Fight (Rachael) of Charlestown, Indiana; daughters, Tasha A. Blair (Billy) of New Salisbury, Indiana and Kayla M. Ising (Jay) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; step-daughter, Dana Callaway (Jeff) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his companion, Debbie Byerly of Milltown, Indiana; his brother, Doug Byrum (Glenna) of English, Indiana; grandchildren: Cameron Marples, Samantha Marples, Gracie Schwartz, Christopher Marples, Alivia Singleton, Jaden Singleton, Maddie Ising, Piper Fight, Alowa Reynolds, Elias Rightnowar, Titus Rightnowar, Aiana Rightnowar, Emily Jacobs, Mason Timberlake, Charity Timberlake, Jason Blair, Jeffery Norlin, and Aaron Blair; great-grandchildren: Hazel and Willow Lincoln and Alice Reynolds; and his nephews, Cory Byrum (Kimberly) and Gabriel Byrum.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. and after 10:00 am until time of the service on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.
Bro. Doug Byrum will officiate the funeral service.
