Gary T. Davis

Gary T. Davis, 53, died on August 1, 2021, with his family by his side in Marengo, Indiana.

He was born on July 5, 1968 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Anna Elizabeth Diamond Timberlake and Gale Timberlake and his father, Larry Davis.

Gary was a 1987 graduate of Paoli High School.  He then pursued a career in construction, 13 years as a laborer and 7 years as a paver operator.

Gary’s interests included knife making, leather work, wood working, and automotive repair.  Gary was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Jennifer Davis; brothers Frank Timberlake (Megan) and Gale Timberlake (Kat); sister, Tammy Timberlake; his daughter and her husband, Cassidey and Bradley Speece; and his two grandchildren:  Riley and Hadley Speece.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Lacy Davis; his mother and her husband, Anna Elizabeth Diamond Timberlake and Gale Timberlake; his father, Larry Davis, and his beloved Bassett hound, Fred.

Pallbearers:  Bradley Speece, Michael Engleman, Zach Dobbins, Dustin Dobbins, Michael Mahoney, and Rick Mahoney Jr.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Union Chapel Cemetery north of Milltown, Indiana.
