Glenn G. Ransdell

Glenn G. Ransdell, 97, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on March 11, 2024 at his residence.  Glenn was born on April 4, 1926 in Mercer County, Kentucky to the late Orestes and Virginia (Brummett) Ransdell.  Glenn married Price R. Whitenack on December 24, 1946.

Glenn was former owner and distributor for Amoco Oil and a farmer.  He was a member of the former Milltown United Methodist Church and was a United States Army Veteran, having served during World War II.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lynn Ransdell; brothers, Vivian and J.W. Ransdell; sisters, Mary Ann Simpson and Bonnie Mae Mattingly.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 77 years, Price R. (Whitenack) Ransdell; a son, Michael L. Ransdell of Depauw, Indiana; daughter, Rita C. Colin (Larry) of Ramsey, Indiana; 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. E.D.T. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. John Taylor will officiate the service.
