Goldia Ruth Mills

Goldia Ruth Mills, 96, of Depauw, Indiana died on June 17, 2021 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on March 30, 1925 in Milltown, Indiana to the late Charles Edward and Grace (Austin) Mills.

She was a former laborer for ICI Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, Indiana and a former librarian for Crawford and Harrison Public Libraries.  She was a member of the Corydon VFW Womens Auxiliary Post #2950.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Larry W. Mills; a daughter, Connie L. Daily; brothers:  Kenneth, Cecil, Eugene, Charles, Ronald, and Glendon Mills; and a sister, Madeline Stonecipher.

She is survived by a son, Eddie E. Mills of Depauw, Indiana; daughters:  Norma R. Murphy of Depauw, Indiana and Sharon D. Wurst of Milltown, Indiana; a brother, Earl Mills of Depauw, Indiana; a sister, Reba McFarland of Greenwood, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Sunday, June 20, 2021 and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm on Monday, all at the funeral home.

Pastor Paul Walerczak will officiate the funeral service.
