Hershel L. Lynch

Hershel L. Lynch, 90, of Grantsburg, Indiana died on September 23, 2024 at his residence.  Hershel was born on May 8, 1934 in Beechwood, Indiana to the late Oscar and Zenith (Butts) Lynch.  

Hershel was a retired truck driver for Robertson Strake Veneer.  Hershel was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.  He was a Christian believer.

Hershel was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Milburn Lynch; sisters Lucille Green, Hazel Lynch, and Lois Lynch.

He was survived by his son, Michael P. Lynch of Grantsburg, Indiana; step-son, Scott Czoch of Henryville, Indiana; brothers, Buford Lynch of Marengo, Indiana and Donald Lynch of Memphis, Indiana; sister, Rita Johnson of Memphis, Indiana; grandchildren, Katie Lynch and John Lynch.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Grantsburg Cemetery with military funeral honors by the English VFW Post #6160.

Visitation will be after 10:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rev. Philo Jones will officiate the service.
