Hilda Mills (Webster) Cox

Hilda Webster Mills Cox, 82, of Marengo, IN died on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY.  She was born on July 4, 1931 in Bogard, IN to the late Mose and Dova Saltsgaver Webster.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church near Marengo, IN and the Marengo Women’s Auxiliary Post # 84.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George L. Cox; sons, Kenny Jerome Mills and George L. Cox; and sisters, Evelyn Briscoe, Dorothy Dyer, Ellen Briscoe, and Helen Landers.

She leaves behind her cherished daughters, Kaye Wilfong (Don) of Ashland, KY, Vanessa Mills of Louisville, KY and Sarah Mills of Jeffersonville, IN; step-daughters, Patti Lewis (Bobby) of Bloomington, IN and Jenny Cox of Sellersburg, IN; grandchildren; Whitney Wilfong of Indianapolis, IN and Dr. Chandler D. Wilfong of Buffalo, NY; a nephew, John Melton; and nieces, Mary Duggin and Lisa Smith.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Monday, May 26, 2014 and after 9:00 am until time of the service on Tuesday.

Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.

Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.
