Inez Louise (Haycox) Busick

Inez L. (Haycox) Busick, 81, of English, Indiana went to her heavenly home on October 27, 2023 at the Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, Indiana.  Inez was born on February 25, 1942 in Marengo, Indiana to the late Ernest and Alice M. (Jones) Haycox.

Inez was a truck driver and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Good News Church near English, Indiana.  She loved to sing at church, play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved to go dancing and loved her cat, Babygirl and her dog, Baby.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold R. Busick; a sister, Evelyn Jones; granddaughter, Tasha Busick; and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Stewart.

She is survived by her son, Shannon R. Busick of English, Indiana; daughters, Lisa L. Holzbog (Allen) of Marengo, Indiana and Debbie L. Foster (David) of Milltown, Indiana; a brother, Gene Haycox of Paoli, Indiana; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Good News Church, 1465 E. Temple Road, English, Indiana  47118.  Interment will be in the Mt. Sterling Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4-8 pm, at the funeral home and after 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the Good News Church.

Pastor Dottie Saltz will officiate the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Crawford County Boys and Girls Club, 177 S. Second Street, Marengo, Indiana  47140 and/or to the Crawford County Jail Ministry.
