Jessie Faye (Mason) Ashley

Jessie Faye (Mason) Ashley, 73, of English, Indiana died on January 8, 2024 at IU Health Paoli Hospital.  Jessie was born on June 17, 1950 in Mifflin, Indiana to the late Emily Ruth (Mason) Leisure.  Jessie married Ricki W. Ashley in 1970.

Jessie was a former machine operator for Tyson Foods.

Jessie is survived by her husband, Ricki W. Ashley Sr. of English, Indiana; son, Ricki W. Ashley Jr. (Kristin) of Milltown, Indiana; daughter, Mary Ellen Cox (Billy) of Depauw, Indiana; brothers, Robert Leisure of Corydon, Indiana, George Leisure and Alvin Leisure both of Florida; sister, Judy Broughton of Florida; grandchildren:  Cody Nevitt (Allie), Tiana Lee (Brandon), Hanaa Ashley, Aubree Ashley, and Zach Cox;  great-granchildren, Conner Nevitt, Collin Lee, Maddy Lee, and Averi Nevitt.

Jessie was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Vickie Ashley.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Taswell Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Charles Collins will officiate the service.
