Jimmie Ray Adam

Jimmie R. Adam, 77, of New Salisbury, Indiana died on January 8, 2025 at Baptist Health- Floyd.  Jimmie was born on September 6, 1947 in Ramsey, Indiana to the late Robert William and Margaret Elizabeth (Beal) Adam.

Jimmie was employed with General Electric for over 37 years, as a forklift operator and serving as a Union Steward.  Jimmie was a Christian believer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vernice Adam; brother, Gary Sizemore; sister, Donna Lee Myers; and his nephew, Mike Myers.

He is survived by his step daughters:  Brenda L. Kemp (Marty) of New Salisbury, Indiana, Margaret Sizemore (Farris) of Corydon, Indiana, and Lisa Devore (Doug) of New Salisbury, Indiana; step son, Mikel Sizemore of New Salisbury, Indiana; niece, Missy Myers of New Salisbury, Indiana; and numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.
