John W. Byerly

John W. Byerly, 87, of Marengo, Indiana died on November 12, 2023 at his residence.  John was born on November 8, 1936 near Milltown, Indiana to the late Wayne and Bertha (Denton) Byerly.

He was a former truck driver and of the Christian Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose M. (Pipes) Byerly; brothers:  Donald and Tommy Byerly and a grandson, John E. Enlow.

He is survived by his sons:  John A. Byerly of Marengo, Indiana, David Byerly of Alton, Indiana,   Scott Byerly of Marengo, Indiana, and Robert Byerly of Marengo, Indiana; daughters, Donna Knight of Milltown, Indiana, Debbie Buckman of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Rhonda Hayley of English, Indiana; brothers, Michael and Kevin Byerly; sisters, Brenda Faulkenburg and Glenda Bell;  several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Bro. Philo Jones will officiate the funeral service.
