John E. Harlamert

John E. Harlamert, 80, of Leavenworth, Indiana died on July 22, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on December 20, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Mary (Wilkins) Harlamert.

He was a former maintenance mechanic and pipefitter at Celanese Corporation and Mulzer Crushed Stone.  He served in the United States Navy as a CB.  He was a lifetime member of the Beechwood Coon Hunters Club, Alton American Legion Post #133, and was of the Catholic Faith.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved working outdoors.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeremiah Harlamert; sister, Judy Higdon; a brother, Leroy Harlamert.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Harlamert; his daughter, Tania Harlamert Morris; sisters:  Norma Kramer and Phyllis Thomas; and grandchildren:  John Wyatt Morris and Skylar Jane Smith.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will be in the Orchard Knob Cemetery near Alton, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 1-8 pm, Monday, July 26, 2021 from 3-8 pm and on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 am, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Marvin Culver will officiate the service.
