John S. McIntyre

John S. McIntyre, 78, of Marengo, Indiana passed from this life on March 10, 2026 at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  John was born on September 5, 1947 to the late Joseph G. and Dorothy (Fain) McIntyre.

John was a former mail clerk for Jefferson County Public Schools and  was a United States Army veteran.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Earl “Butch” and Robert McIntyre.

John is survived by his wife, Donna S. (Howe) McIntyre; sons, Wallace A. McIntyre (Tawnya), and Paul S. McIntyre (Rebecca); daughter, Amanda Ann Louise McIntyre (Greg); sisters, Evelyn Dobbs; grandchildren, Shawn McIntyre (Ashley), Monica Young (Ray), and Samantha McIntyre; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way;  and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service at 5:00 p.m, at the funeral home.

Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.
