John T. Swarens

John T. Swarens, Jr., 68, of Depauw, Indiana died on September 21, 2021 at his residence.  John was born on March 8, 1953 in Corydon, Indiana to the late John T. Swarens Sr. and Polly (Clark) Swarens.

John was a former truck driver for Harrison County Highway Department and Robertson Quarry and was a former welder for Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers:  Tommy and James Swarens.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie L. Raines (James) of Leavenworth, Indiana; sister Carol Yaeger of Depauw, Indiana and grandchildren:  Jordan, Jayson, and Braxton Raines.

Funeral services will be on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021 and after 10:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Doug Byrum will officiate the service.
