Joyce A. (Lee) Saunders

Joyce A. (Lee) Saunders, 78, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on May 23, 2026 at Baptist Health- Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Joyce was born on January 18, 1948 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late John William and Clara Joyce (Adams) Lee. Joyce married Kenneth E. Saunders on May 23, 1970.

Joyce was a former production worker for Daramic in Corydon, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William J. “B.J.” Saunders; a brother John W. (“J.W.”) Lee; and sisters, Marilyn Miller, Madlyn Nash, Victoria Holland, and Doris Meyer.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth E. Saunders; sons, John H. Saunders and Scott A. Saunders (Paula); daughter, Kendra L. Saunders; brother, Joseph C. (“J.C.”) Lee; sisters, Ann Dear and Pauline Anderson; grandchildren, Kenny Stokes (Andrea), Brandon Stokes (Arbor), Zachary Saunders, Derek Saunders (Jessie), and Alison Saunders; and great-grandchildren, Lyra Stokes, Azalea Stokes, Jasper Stokes, Jayce Stokes, and Swayde Saunders.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
