Karen J. (Adkins) McCollom

Karen J. (Adkins) McCollom, 63, of New Salisbury, Indiana died on May 28, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  Karen was born on December 10, 1959 in Indiana to Lula Bell (Rickenbaugh) Britt and the late Luther Adkins.

Karen was a MOD Team Associate with Wal-Mart in Corydon, Indiana.  She loved country music, taking care of her mother, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Adkins; brother, Terry Adkins; and a sister, Debbie Manship.

She is survived by her mother, Lula Bell Britt; son, Ray W. McCollom of New Salisbury, Indiana; daughter, Monica L. Kee of New Salisbury, Indiana; sister, Rosa Wright of Orleans, Indiana; and grandchildren:  Jonathan Kee, Kaylie Kee, Zayden Kee, and Dale Kee-Eagle Feather.

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Taswell Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, all at the funeral home.
