Kathie J. (Hanover) Jones

Kathie J. (Hanover) Jones, 72, of Marengo, Indiana, passed from this life on June 16, 2026 at Baptist Health- Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  Kathie was born on September 13, 1953 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Theresa Hanover.

Kathie was a hairdresser at Fashion Net Beauty Salon in Orleans for over 40+ years and currently was at Second Street Salon in Orleans, Indiana.  She was a member of the Carefree Christians Missionary Church and a former committee member of the Marengo High School Alumni.  She enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales, camping, traveling, and helping others.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and the children.

Kathie was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Kristen Clawson.

She is survived by her husband, Howard E. Jones; brothers, John and Michael Crecelius; sisters, Judy Saltsgaver, Brenda and Tracy Crecelius; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. until time of the service at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Bro. John Taylor will officiate the service.
