Lana A. Wilkes

Lana A. Wilkes, 60, of English, Indiana died on October 4, 2021 at Baptist Health- Floyd.  Lana was born on December 13, 1960 in Huntingburg, Indiana to the late Basil G. and Fredia M. “Peachie” (Holzbog) Wilkes.

She attended Sulphur Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her friend, Kevin Jordan of English, Indiana; brother, Mark G. Wilkes of English, Indiana; sister, Gayna Montgomery of English, Indiana; and her special aunt and caregiver, Vivian E. Taylor of Marengo, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tom Wade.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Birdseye Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Bro. Allen Holzbog will officiate the funeral service.

Memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society.
