Larry N. Henriott

Larry Nelson Henriott, 75, of Ramsey Indiana, passed away on May 28, 2026 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born on his father’s birthday, October 12, 1950, in New Albany, Indiana.

Larry live a life defined by hard work, family, and simple joys.  A 1968 graduate of Milltown High School, he built a long career through his work with Louisville Gas and Electric, General Electric, and many years as an over-the-road truck driver.  He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet nature, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.  Larry enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, watching old westerns, and he never met a Euchre game he didn’t like.  

During his younger years, he especially enjoyed yearly deer hunting trips to Wisconsin with family, creating memories that would be cherished for generations.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Nelson and Pauline Christine (Hofmann) Henriott; brother-in-law, Richard Houghton; and nephew-in-law, Michael Kinslow.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Henriott Houghton of Ramsey, Indiana; his niece, Shari Christine Kinslow of Clarksville, Indiana; his great-niece, Stefanie Stubner of Munich, Germany; his great-nephew, James Nelson Briley (Melanie) of Clarksville, Indiana; his great-great-niece, Arabella Shaye Briley of Clarksville, Indiana; and many extended family members.

Larry will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of hard work, and the quiet joy he found in the things he loved most.  His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. and after 10:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Jim Smith will officiate the service.
