Larry R. Lowe Sr.

Larry R. Lowe Sr., 74, of Depauw, Indiana died on September 6 , 2022 at the Henry County Hospital.  Larry was born on November 24, 1947 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Alva Lee and Mary E. (Byerly) Lowe.

Larry was a mechanic at Fort Knox, a truck driver and was a United States Marine Corp. Vietnam Veteran.  He was a member of the VFW Post #2920 in Corydon, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine (Hayes) Lowe; brothers:  Darrell Lowe Sr, Jack Lowe Sr., and Joseph Lowe; and grandchildren:  Shalonda and Christopher Lowe.

He is survived by his children:  William O. Lowe (Lucy), Larry Lowe Jr. (Penny), and Angela Bobo (Ralph); brothers:  Gerald Lowe Sr., Mickey Lowe Sr. Gary Lowe Sr. (Brenda), and Randy Lowe Sr. (Denise); sisters:  Karen Sue Smith (Jerry), Joyce Schrek (Richard) and Barbara Bullington (Danny); grandchildren:  Kallen Lowe (Pharabe), Amanda Steiner (Michael), Michael Hood, Steven Alt (Jona), Jessica Johnson (DJ), Jared and Colton Purcell, and Brittany Southern; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm on Monday, all at the funeral home. 

Shane Rodgers will officiate the service.
