Leanna Elizabeth Tipton

Leanna Elizabeth Tipton, 17, of Birdseye, Indiana died on August 30, 2022 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.  Leanna was born on April 1, 2005 in Jasper, Indiana to Thomas C. Tipton and Lisa E. (Froman) Tipton.

Leanna was a cashier for Taco Bell in Ferdinand, Indiana.  She was going to graduate with the Crawford County High School Class of 2022 and was in the cadet class.  She was a member of the Tunnel Hill Church and loved to hunt, fish, swim, ride dirt bikes and ATV’s, skating, climbing, hiking, tubing, boating and loved being with her friends.

She is survived besides her parents, by her siblings, Lance Persinger, Austin, Wyatt, Daniel, Laylah, and Alyssa Tipton; grandmother, Dorothy Ray; and her niece, Bristol Persinger.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifford and Margaret Froman and Tom L. Tipton.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm E.D.T. at the Hillview Christian Church, 4180 State Road 64, Marengo, Indiana  47140.  Interment will follow in the Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 5, 2022 from 3-8 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm, all at the Hillview Christian Church.

Bro. Adam Stroud will officiate the service.
