Lillie L (Highfill) Zehr

Lillie L. (Highfill) Zehr, 90, died on November 7, 2020 at the Villas of Guerin Woods in Georgetown, Indiana.  She was born on June 24, 1930 in Taswell, Indiana to the late Fount and Stella (Brock) Highfill.

She was a retired cafeteria manager for Southeast Dubois County School Corporation, a member of the Highfill Chapel General Baptist Church, where she served as the church pianist for over 70 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers:  Curran and Carl Gene Highfill; and a sister, Claris Newton.

She is survived by her husband, Doyle L. Zehr of Georgetown, Indiana; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle E. and Chuck Dyer of Georgetown, Indiana; and grandsons:  Chase and Austin Dyer both of Georgetown, Indiana.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Highfill Chapel General Baptist Church near Taswell, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 3-7 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am until time of the service at 10:30 am, all at the church.

Rev. John Bye will officiate the service.
