Lisa R. Harris

Lisa R. Harris, 61, of New Salisbury, Indiana passed from this life on February 12, 2026 near Hardinsburg, Indiana.  Lisa was born on August 28, 1964 in Salem, Indiana to the late Renard G. Harris Jr. and Martha E. (Pavey) Harris.

Lisa was a former Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at  the former Orange County Hospital and Paoli Health and Living.  She was a member of the Hardinsburg Christian Church.  Lisa loved talking to people and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Harris.

She is survived by her daughter, Jordon Hopper; sister, Myra Harris; a brother, Roy Harris; grandchildren, Avelyn and Nolan Dickey; and a niece and nephews:  Candace Harder, Chris Kellams, Adam Richardson, Justin Richardson, Jesse Baker and Jason Baker.

Lisa’s wishes was to be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
