Lonnie D. Edwards

Lonnie D. Edwards, 82, of Milltown, Indiana died on July 12, 2021 at the home of his daughter, Jodi Zehr.  Lonnie was born on January 27, 1939 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William F. and Hettie M. (Sutton) Edwards.

Lonnie was a former waste water technician for BASF.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betsy J. (McCoy) Edwards; his son, Greg Edwards; brothers:  Frank, Max, Joe, Richard, and Larry Edwards; sisters:  Emmajean Edwards, Phyllis Bary, Regina Karsner, and Rene Edwards.

Lonnie is survived by his daughter, Jodi Zehr of Milltown, Indiana and sisters:  Sheila Young of New Albany, Indiana and Rita K. Edwards of Clarksville, Indiana; grandchildren:  Justin Barnes (Sami), Brian Barnes, and J.R. Logsdon; and great-grandchildren:  Weslee, Kaylee, Leeland, and Titan.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Milltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.

The family request no flowers be sent to the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children, in lieu of flowers.
