Marilyn Pickett Obituary

Marilyn Kay Pickett, 75, of English, Indiana died on April 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born on March 21, 1945 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Vincent J. Newkirk and Marion Sites.

She was a former certified nursing assistant at the former Floyd Memorial Hospital and a caretaker. She was a member of the English Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John V. Newkirk.

She is survived by her husband- Noel Pickett Jr.; son- Roy A. Pickett; daughter- Anita K. King; brothers- Ronald J. Newkirk and Vincent J. Newkirk Jr.; half sister- Linda Tolle; and grandchildren- Kendra and Rachel.

Services will be private due to the Covid-19 virus and the State of Indiana recommendations on gatherings.

Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.

Rev. Philo Jones will officiate the service.

Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
