Mark Schultz Obituary

Mark J. Schultz, 65, of Marengo, Indiana died on January 30, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on September 24, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to John E. Schultz and the late Catherine B. (Urban) Schultz.

He was an employee of Jasper Engines and Transmissions and was a member of the Liberty View Church.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy D. (Hatton) Schultz of Marengo, Indiana; his father, John E. Schultz of Marseilles, Illinois; step-son, Chad Boger of Clarksville, Tennessee; step-daughter, Kristy L. Day of Shoals, Indiana; his sister, Lynn Valastyan of Wheaton, Illinois and 9 step-grandchildren.

Loved by many- especially Nancy- Mark’s uniqueness will be missed. A voracious reader, he carried lists around of those books he had yet to read. From music, to pets, to the beautiful countryside, to his old toy discoveries, Mark knew how to have fun.

There will be no services, at Mark’s request.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
