Martha J. Gilmore

Martha J. Gilmore, 67, of Milltown, Indiana died on September 19, 2022 at the home of her sister, Jane Foust.  Martha was born on February 22, 1955 in Eckerty, Indiana to the late Adrian Clayton and Nora Estelle (Wright) Gilmore.

Martha was a former EMT for the former Newkirk Ambulance, Crawford and Harrison County Emergency Medical Services, and a former associate for Wal-Mart in Corydon, Indiana.  Martha was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the former Lincoln Hills Church near Depauw, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clayton Ross Gilmore and a sister, Mamie Winterland.

She is survived by her brother, Randy Gilmore (Linda) of Birdseye, Indiana; sister, Jane Foust of Milltown, Indiana; brother-in-law, Larry Winterland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Eckerty Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 am on Monday, September 26, 2022, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Chris Brown will officiate the service.
