Mary Lou (House) Andrew

Mary Lou (House) Andrew, 79, of Leavenworth, Indiana passed from this life on April 11, 2026 at the Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  Mary was born on May 28, 1946 in Leavenworth, Indiana to the late Stanley Edward and Evelyn Mae (Kellums) House.  She married Harry R. Andrew Jr. on June 11, 1962.

Mary was a former cook for the Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth, Indiana and a former secretary for the Crawford County Highway Department.  She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward and Donnie House; and sisters, Helen McClain, Margaret Beals, Loretta Allen and Betty Allen.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harry R. Andrew Jr.; son, Harry R. Andrew III (Melissa) of Leavenworth, Indiana; daughter, Sheri L. Jones (Tom) of Leavenworth, Indiana; sister, Ruth Allen of English, Indiana; grandchildren, Ashley Hutt, Tyler Jones, Nerissa Baker, Jacob Voyles, Trevor Jones, and Cammie Weaver; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Borden Cemetery near Leavenworth, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. and after 10:00 p.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Randy Coleman will officiate the service.
