Mary Catherine (Tindle) Brewer

Mary Catherine (Tindle) Brewer, 85, of New Salisbury, Indiana, formerly of Marengo, Indiana died on June 22, 2024 at Baptist Health- Floyd, New Albany, Indiana.  Mary was born on September 24, 1935 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William Walter Tindle and Mary Frances (Crawford) Rager.

Mary was a former woodworker for Keller Manufacturing in New Salisbury, Indiana.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joe Brewer; parents; sisters:  Barbara Karsner and Margaret Batliner; brothers, Richard and Ronald Tindle; a grandson, Robert Baseden; and great-grandchildren, Isabella and Riley Hornocker.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Brewer Crecelius of New Salisbury, Indiana and Carol Baseden of Marengo, Indiana; a brother, William Rager of Clarksville, Indiana; a sister, Emma Tamala of New Albany, Indiana; grandchildren:  Brittany Mudd, Crystal Hornocker, Natasha Baseden, and Brianne White; great-grandchildren:  Evan and Ellie Eldridge, Brooklyn and Jordan Hornocker, Seth Crum, and Leanne White.

At Mary’s wishes, cremation was chosen and no services will be scheduled.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
